i dunno what it is but she is cool, she was great up until she married Merv then they didnt really bother giving her proper storylines, up until then she was cool.

I actually liked her much more pre-Merve as she became more of a comic act after that. Still glad she found her happinness though!

She was definitely much better before Merv! She was so much fun! I hated how they tried to make her and Merv into a comedy duo. It ruined her character somewhat and I hated how she left her husband too...all because she was bored...it seemed so heartless to me. Still one of my all time faves though.

Joycie is class all the way!

fave Joyce story lines include:

- When she was Governor for a while but couldn't handle Joan and Len's constant interference
- When Suzie Driscoll stole her glasses
- When she was held in a circle of the women so they could get the Governors attention (like a rabbit caught in headlights)
- When the male stripper came in, Joyce was right in amongst it!
- When she tells Joan she defended her over Joans Sacking
... I've also seen a clip of Joyce giving Joan a Slap, which looks fun... but I'm not there yet

I haven't got to her second marriage yet, kinda dreading it! but i do love Joyce

I love Joyce. Remember when she did the tap dancing in front of the women, and also in reception and Meg walked in and couldn't stop laughing?

I liked Joyce, It wasn't until Colleen left, she started taking front stage regularly, I also noticed her personality change since her first appearance, where she spoke about Vera and Yates in a tough tone voice to Meg, then later on one makes you think how she even became an officer.

By the time she had married Merv, it seemed she had run her course, bringing her back from her honeymoon just after a cast reshuttle (The 3 new trainee officers) was pointless and like Meg, they were both underused after that point.
