I just checked and the American Sony release from 2009 is a 4K scan already and the criterion press release doesn't specify a new master just that it's 4K so it might be the same transfer you can already buy for £6.

However, if there are many more extra features (unlikely as the Sony release is very good), I might buy it anyway.
