I'm torn. Its a must buy however if Eureaka release it here they might port over that del toro commentary. Its annoying as eureakas transfers are often comparable with Criterion. However if Criterion are also releasing in the UK I'll get it and keep my DVD for the commentary.

it is a conundrum as to whether to wait for a Eureka release or not?. i seem to have been waiting for Eureka's take on Kwaidan for what seems like an age. i don't think i can wait that long for Vampyr!

Twin peaks fire walk with me announced. I'm somewhat baffled as everyone and their uncle owns it in the peaks box set. I'm fairly certain that one was director approved as well. Not sure if 4k though.

I relented and bought criterions kwaidan. It looks stunning. Genuinely shocked Eureaka didn't announce it right after my purchase. mind you they didn't put out hausu either.

Even the extras seem to be the same as the box set ones, The Missing Pieces, and that really weird interview with Ray Wise, Grace Zabriskie and Sheryl Lee where Lynch interviewed them in their characters as the Palmers.

More to be announced but so far pretty pointless...
