The CRITERION DVD and Blu-ray Thread

I've ordered from Zoom loads of times before and plenty of pre-orders as well, they tend to send them out the Wednesday before and they arrive Friday/Saturday, and people over on bluray.com did get their NOTLD from zoom by the weekend. I will say this about them, they have top notch customer service but you phone them rather than email, at least it's freephone though!

Just watching the NOTLD and both discs are flashing pink from time to time anyone else have this issue. Do I contact Amazon or Criterion with this fault ?

Is it just these actual discs? I have had this in the past and it was because the leads between my player and TV became partially unseated.

How often is it flashing? Trying mine out will watch first 15 mins

if it is just your disc that is the problem then the retailer is the first port of call. If everyone's discs have the same problem then its up to Criterion to set up a disc replacement programme.

It's most likely to be the HDMI cable, my discs have been fine as well. I'd unplug them completely and put them back in, or try a different set of cables and see if it's still happening. Or failing that is there another player you can try it on?

I checked a couple of other blu rays and it's the player I'm using my ps4 no problem with games but blu ray is affected will check the wires. Cheers for the replies

Could be the film itself, I once had a dvd of it where all the zombies looked green....

Tried mine, 15 mins no problems, skipped a few chapters & all good.
The packaging (ie: the digipack) is terrible & cheap! Really flimsey & the way the discs clip in is just asking to be broken. Would have preferred an amaray!
Won't be buying Dr Strangelove as thats also a digipack. Any other dodgey digipacks to be weary of?
