Just wondering, has anyone (literally) bought the Uninvited criterion blu?
I usually get my criterion's through cex & they sell them for around a tenner, but The Uninvited has yet to be listed. Am guessing it's because nobody's sold a copy to them yet?
Really want to get it but paying £18 for 1 film when I can get 2 new releases (ie: The Fog & Prince of Darkness) from hmv for £25 is mad!

i imported the Criterion blu before it was released in the UK and before the clampdown on taxes, so got it for around £14 from allyourmusic. nice old-fashioned ghost story. i'd wait for a 2 for £25 offer if i were you, or it will turn up at CEX eventually.

Ahem. Is the print lovely R?? I have the old vhs and tis a bit fuzzy etc ....

i wouldn't say the print is reference quality, it doesn't blow you away; it looks slightly chalky in the very dark scenes, but having said that, there is no real print damage, a good grain level, and enough detail to make out the patterns on the actor's clothes clearly. although i've never seen it i'd say it is likely to be light years ahead of the old VHS.
