Cheers!! All duly noted. I'll bide my time then. Having just scored with the Callan sets I've hankered for for donkeys .... fingers crossed!

Criterion's In The Heat of the Night transfer is to die for!

Simply incredible!

When Scott Wilson is pursued through the woods by Gillespie's posse, the colours are so vivid, you'd think you were actually in the woods themselves!

I got the uninvited on blu from cex, astounding film! Already a fave of mine, up there with The Innocents & The Haunting!!!!

In other criterion related news, I have just ordered His Girl Friday & My Man Godfrey from zoom!
Awaiting with baited breath, they might be expensive but print and extras-wise, criterion excel!

Wonder what happened to all those Godzilla UK Criterion releases advertised well over a year ago?

I'm a bit worried the uk arm of criterion is drying up, was hoping godzilla releases would be here soon & loads of other stuff like I married a Witch but the releases are a bit random! Rushmore & Royal Tenenbaums? Lol!

The Wes Anderson films are amongst the better of the UK releases in my opinion. I was very happy when Tenenbaums came out! You have to remember that while Criterion will sometimes put a cult film out they’re not a cult film label.

Am I right in thinking Here is Your Life and The Emigrants came out in the UK from Criterion because I've never ever seen them in the likes of Fopp.

Talking about In The Heat of The Night there, I've never seen a Sidney film before, would this be a good one to start with?

Here Is Your Life didn’t but The Emigrants did and I remember it being pricey like £30 because it was a two film set.

Yeah I'll not be paying £30 for a couple of films. Saying that can usually punt it on ebay to looney's that will pay anything for a bit of Criterion.
