The bluray cases? They're just the same size but the cover's are larger as they don't have the bluray banner at the top

I love the Criterion Blu-ray cases.

I don't like them so much. They just look like regular DVD cases. Nothing special. When i got my first Criterion last year i thought it was a mistake and i got the DVD version instead of the Blu-ray.

Watched Naked Lunch last night, what a bizarre film.
I hope this Barnes & Noble Criterion sale I've heard so much about is on again soon. Gonna save up on some cash and bulk up my collection. Looking to get Down By Law and Rosemary's Baby.

As I've already posted in the Bargains thread, Amz US has got quite a few Criterion BDs going for $20.

Tuesday July 9th is the date of the Barnes & Noble 50% Off Criterion sale.

Hopefully they still mark everything as books, as I plan to order a fair bit. I have my eye on some Eclipse sets (Masaki Kobayashi & When Horror Came to Shochiku) and plenty of Blu-rays (some Whit Stillman!). It splits over two months of my card statement too, so I should be able to get two lots.

My first Criterion BD Videodrome arrived yesterday. Don't plan on making a habit of buying them as I already spend too much on BDs as it is, to introduce Criterion completism now would be like graduating from cannabis to heroin. However, I'd appreciate any recommendations of essential definitive releases they've put out.
