Apparently there is a problem with the film on the Blu-Ray disc of 'Citizen Kane' Criterion are making replacement copies available to all of their customer who have purchased the disc, along with an additional $10 gift certificate

For people who don't know what the issue is, it was reported from some early reviews that the contrast levels go really flat about half way through the film, so instead of the strong blacks and whites everything is a milky grey silver instead. The 4k disc isn't affected by it, just the bluray.

Hopefully ARMY OF SHADOWS is UK bound on Criterion,LCR is clasd but Army is the better film I reckon. Be picking up Flight of the Phoenix-never got round to getting the Eureka release. Never seen it-what a cracking cast.
