Cheers mate just added CUL DE SAC,ANATOMY OF A MURDER and EYES WITHOUT A FACE (Second time purchase as I'm sick of the BFI continually putting back their release!)

However, when it does finally appear, that artwork will bowl me over!

That entirely depends on what films you like and what you value in terms of extra features, booklets and packaging. It's a huge catalogue and almost impossible to suggest a small selection without pointers.

After looking though their library my question seems pretty stupid. In general are they worth the money as i know they can be quite expensive.

They are generally the best release of any given title in terms of the AV quality and extra features, with new commentaries, featurettes and excellent booklets, sometimes entire screenplays.

They are expensive, but I think they are worth the money, yes.

Wait until July - there'll be a Barnes and Noble 50% off sale - best time to fill the gaps.

The big problem with them being half price is I want to buy twice as many!

eBay seller Blowitoutahere also often have some great deals on Criterion Blus throughout the year. I buy 90% of all my Criterions from them.
