If you only compare image quality the Mya dvd would win (no contest) ,but the Retrofilm dvd has other things going for it. |

Picture-wise,there's no comparison.But I'll need to sit and watch it now B. You've got me curious now. When I bought it many moons ago,I watched about ten minutes of it and switched off. I'll make a point of watching it all the way through now.:nod: Maybe the Blu ray player will improve it slightly.... |

I found the audio to be much more in sync on the Retrofilm release, plus I think MYA 'borrowed' their master from an Italian TV broadcast so there are slight jumps between certain scenes due to ad breaks. Retrofilm's scene progression seemed a lot more fluid to me. I watched mine on my Blu too a while ago, and it seemed to look better than when I viewed in on my standard DVD player reaps. :nod: |
