Just gave Ferox a spin, and what an magnificent upgrade this is!

No weird artifacts, like scanner noise and DNR, just plenty of natural 35mm grain, and a stable bitrate.

Also an impressive set of extras on here.

This sure is one of the best releases of 2015, so far

The movie, on disc one, is region locked; while disc 2 containing the extras, is region free.

I was thinking of buying it, even though I don't have a region-free player yet, for the CD and extras, but unfortunately the main doc (Eaten Alive) is also on disc one, according to DVDcompare.

Ya, I was disappointed too when I found out that the EATEN ALIVE doc featured on the non playable - for me anyway, as I'm not multi region, disc one. It's unfortunate, but roll on the ZOMBIE HOLOCAUST release. At least disc 2 plays, so that's something.

I'll probably fork out for it too - even though I'm not multi-region yet.

Sill question - Why do companies still region lock bd's and dvds ? Wouldn't it be better to just put all discs R0 and let the punter decide which version to buy ?
Is it to do with rights or something ?
I know games are locked so as companies can see how well a title thats hugely popular in one region will sell in other regions were its got just cult or minor appeal , but I cant see that being the case with films.

Yep, down to rights. Say a company owns the licence to a film - they can sell that to Arrow for example, ask them to region lock it and then sell it again to an American company, thus making themselves more money
