I'm not a massive fan of The Beyond, so I think the Arrow Blu will do for me. I personally prefer Zombie Flesh-Eaters and City of the Living Dead.

From what little I've read, the main reason to get the Grindhouse version over the Arrow version is the extras, of which I'm not interested in anyway (barring the soundtrack which I already own on vinyl).

The dvdactive review of The Beyond also says "no" RCE. I wish the reviewers would make their minds up!

If anyone cares, it's only the first disc (w/ feature) that's region locked, the extras disc is not.

Looking at the reviews screengrabs Arrows version looks fine to me, the Grindhouse edition looks a little too bright.

Hmm the Arrow edition does look bright or is the Grindhouse edition too dark?

The Grindhouse has been colour-corrected, the intro is yellow to match the torches rather than sepia.
