I've decided not to pre-order any 88 Films titles ATM. Budget just can't accommodate for it, and they will have to join the queue of titles that will drop bellow a tenner in a few months. The long, looong queue.

Looks like Boaz Davidson will be talking about X-Ray with it's release. Don't know if it's a booklet interview/on camera/commentary though.

"Full specs for X-RAY!

Few of the slasher flicks from the genre’s golden age can match X-RAY’s gloriously gory mix of masked-maniac menace and intestinal-opening extravagance…

This medical nightmare has the iconic PLAYBOY pin-up Barbi Benton attending an appointment at the most horrendous hospital imaginable. Perhaps a damning indictment of the American health service, our beautiful brunette is not permitted to leave her ward, subjected to a series of body inspections and blood tests and stalked from corridor to corridor by a strange weapon-wielding psychopath. Expertly directed by Boaz Davidson, producer of THE EXPENDABLES series, and originally released by the notorious schlockmeisters at Cannon Films, X-RAY remains one of the most demented slice and dice epics ever unleashed!

*Uncut and uncensored for the first time in the UK!
*Brand new UK exclusive interview with director Boaz Davidson
*Booklet notes by Calum Waddell, including a guide to Playboy pin-ups in horror cinema.
*Reversible sleeve featuring the UK HOSPITAL MASSACRE artwork."

"Full specs for AMERICAN NINJA!

Perhaps the defining movie franchise of Cannon Films, AMERICAN NINJA launched a young Michael Dudikoff (AVENGING FORCE) into cult superstardom and further cemented the legacy of his co-star Steve James (THE EXTERMINATOR) as an action icon in training! Released to blockbuster box office, the story transports viewers to an army base in the Phillipines, where a young American soldier harbours his own martial art secrets – and is forced into battle against an illicit underground herd of power-hungry mercenaries. It is ninja vs. ninja, as well as physical combat galore, as the screen heats up with the sweat and sassiness of kung-fu combat! Directed by the one man B-movie machine that is Sam Firstenberg (BREAKIN’ 2: ELECTRIC BOGALOO/ CYBORG COP), AMERICAN NINJA makes its worldwide BluRay debut in this stunning HD special edition.

*Fully uncut!
*Reversible sleeve with alternative artwork!
*Commentary track with director Sam Firstenvberg and stunt co-ordinator Steve Lambert
*NINJA GAIJIN: REMEMBERING A CLASSIC CANNON FRANCHISE - Feature length documentary on the AMERICAN NINJA series with interviews from director Sam Firstenberg, actors Michael Dudikoff, Phillip Brock and Tadashi Yamashita, leading lady Judie Aronson, writer Paul De Mielche, stunt co-ordinator Steven Lambert, Debi James, daughter of the late Steve James and AMERICAN NINJA 2 stuntman BJ Davis.
*Original theatrical trailer (featuring the initial shooting title of AMERICAN WARRIOR!)
*Booklet notes by Calum Waddell"

You think it's worth collecting those Grindhouse Collections then, Nos?
I asked about them in the "is it worth getting" thread sometime ago, but didn't get any replies.

Not seen any of the films, but the covers are fantastic.
