Just watched the first Amercan Ninja film which I've always really enjoyed and then jumped to part 3 which even back in the day seemed cheesy as hell to me, however rather suprisingly it didn't seem half as bad as I remembered it was, so either I've done the film a disservice over the years or I've just developed a better sense of humour these days.

Gonna check out part 4 later which should prove interesting

I've seen a lot of comments on Facebook etc, calling 3 & 4 crap, worthless, a waste of film. These people have no taste, especially with regard to American Ninja 3. It's fun, with some good action and that amazing cheesy song, The Cobra Strikes. 4 is the weakest of the movies (not counting American Ninja 5), but it's great to see Dudikoff return as Joe Armstrong.
plasterface and keirarts like this.

I'm not sure, but I guess it depends on how well the remastering is going! I'm assuming June and anything earlier is a bonus.

In the same satirical spirit of HOLLYWOOD CHAINSAW HOOKERS or STUDENT BODIES, comes 1991's unfairly obscure splatter send-up BLOODSUCKING PHARAOHS IN PITTSBURGH.

Originally entitled PICKING UP THE PIECES, and featuring special effects from the great Tom Savini (MANIAC/ DAY OF THE DEAD), this first class mix of gore and guffaws makes its worldwide BluRay debut from 88 Films. Starring Veronica Hart, the erstwhile adult movie legend, as a weapon-wielding femme-fatale who is dedicated to lopping off limbs and chalking up a high body count in the name of an ancient religious cult, BLOODSUCKING PHARAOHS IN PITTSBURGH is one of the most deranged darkly humoured hack 'em ups that you have (probably) never seen.

Proving that the female of the species is far deadlier than the male, this latest addition to 88 Films' influential Slasher Classics Collection is a true gem of slice and dice delirium waiting to be rediscovered...

I've never seen it – and hadn't heard of it previous to this announcement – but love the title and description, so it's a must-buy for me.

One of the more enjoyable movies of the lacklustre '90's.
Nice one!

Aw, they broke their 80s streak!

Never heard of this one before either. Looks... interesting.
