It does look like a parody or non-serious genre film, a little like The Rocky Horror Picture Show but without any musical numbers.

It's definitely obscure for a reason.

I'm intrigued as even the directors cut dvd was cut, so is this a new version of the film?

American and german dvd ar cut = only r rated version.

both dvds have gore deleted scenes as extras. would be nice, if 88 films could offer and unrated cut.

will be englusch subs on?

Think that was Kino. I'm pretty happy with the German discs for the time being though (barring some kind of super duper definitive restoration and extras package).
