Could be very interesting times if a lot of future 88 Films releases are been released by the likes of Severin. You would expect the HD masters supplied to each company would be the same, but we know that isn't always what happens.

Sucks for 88. If Severin are about to release all their Italian releases in better versions perhaps 88 should give up on the Italian titles altogether?
EDIT
***Right, cancelled all my pre-orders for the italian titles. Severin all the way!*****

And you're wrongly assuming that everyone imports, when we're a miniscule fraction of the buying public.

I would imagine, but I could be wrong, that most of 88 Films' sales come from Amazon and HMV.

Also, it's probably the case that most DVD and Blu-ray sales in Britain are from those two retailers, plus supermarkets.

Fair point. Think I shall avoid the Italian titles going forward, however will continue with the slasher and full moon stuff.

As long as you keep buying the Full Moon titles and showing 88 there's an audience for them, we're cool!

Certainly didn't help that they called it a "beautiful master" on their Facebook before they released it, when it clearly wasn't
