Can't see them going for a pre-cut R rated version, but I do believe there will be 2 versions on the disc, one is a 'grindhouse' version, maybe it might be a chopped up VHS style transfer to remind us of the good/bad ol' days.

I'm calling bullshit on this one, can't see them risking the online backlash from releasing a butchered version

They've already responded to someone questioning it on Facebook. They've said it's uncut.

I couldn't think of anything in the film which the BBFC would strongly object to and demand to be cut for an 18 certificate, so that makes sense.

Callum stated on 88's Facebook page ages ago that it was the uncut version.

I believe that's Burial Grounds, which will have both a scan of the negative, and a scan of a 35mm print

If im wrong then i do apologise.
But from all forums ive read etc everytime someones says it uncut sev people say otherwise

http://www.melonfarmers.co.uk/hitsn_nb.htm
The cut R Rated version was passed 18 for strong, bloody horror and sex without further BBFC cuts for:
2015 88 Films RB Blu-ray
2007 International Trading/Screen Entertainment R0 DVD
2005 Anchor Bay Box of the Banned R2 DVD
2002 International Trading/Screen Entertainment VHS
The US R Rated Version is 3:04s shorter than the uncut version. The cuts are along the lines of the BBFC cinema cuts but less drastic. See pictorial cuts details from movie-censorship.com .

The fact that there are some pre-cuts made the BBFC decision a little easier to grant a certificate as this version is cut more than the banned video nasty version. It still took several viewings by the BBFC before the decision was reached.
