It's ridiculous. Melon Farmers are still saying it's the uncut R-rated release from 88 Films.

I always thought i could trust them for this sort of info, seems not. It was them that started this inquest in the first place. Why would they still claim this?

It hasn't even been submitted to the BBFC yet (well, I can't find it on their site anyway). I do like Melonfarmers, but sometimes they do get stuff wrong

There is £2 postage on top of the price but it is still the cheapest i have seen this title since release.
Thanks for posting.

The 88 lads read this sometimes and have left comments from time to time, so any chance of putting this one to bed with a definitive answer...Please!!
Pretty please...

We have an uncut master, the same version that Code Red released and the sole cut of the film available in HD anyway! And we expect it to pass uncut at the BBFC. We said this already on Facebook. Everytime we announce something there are multiple comments asking if it will be uncut and we don't have time to answer each one. If we expect something will be cut, such as Man from Deep River, we always say so upfront.

Once again, the curse of internet scuttlebutt (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scuttlebutt) strikes again. This is why I'm developing a really cautious attitude to anything I read on-line. Still can't believe people still hold melonfarmers as a credible source of information. I've found loads of errors on there.

They are every bit as reactionary as those they criticise. Will never forget when they reported I had hired lawyers to shut down a certain genre website many years ago. An utter load of hogwash (and I still find fans online repeating this insane story - as if freelance genre writers have money to piss away on actual 500 quid an hour solicitors). But then what to expect? The most censorious people I have come across in my life are those who pretend to preach the language of free and fair thought.

Well I think we can safely say 88 are releasing Evilspeak at some point, I've got it as a postcard / flyer with my Spasmo blu. Now could it be a Slasher Classics or standard release?

Default Spasmo

I've just given Spasmo a quick spin and it looks great, I think they've used the unDNR'd version.
