Somebody explained that situation on here i think. It was a while ago and i can't remember the ins and outs. Something like Exposure did the restoration or decided they didn't want it after all. As i say i can't remember it was ages ago. Might have been Calum or Michael Brooke who discussed what happened.

They could incorporate the additional scenes located after the midnight legacy release and also add some extras.

Extra features, and plenty of them! I know there is an interview with Eli Roth, but I'm not sure what else.

Well if like me you don't own the US blu of Alien 2 it's the way to go. When I emailed 88 after recieving my Indiegogo Burial Ground they said they were still waiting on the materials arriving, so they might be releasing a very special edition with all the added TV scenes and additional footage.
