According to 88 Films' facebook post they have access to Zombi Holocaust and Burial Ground film materials. So new transfers are now possible I guess.

I'll get zombi holocaust if it is a better transfer than the US blu-ray or if it comes new extras such as a commentary or decent length documentary about the film

I'll pick up Burial Ground as it's one of my favourites, I have the SS blu but to be honest it's not much to write home about even the AWE DVD has a better print imho. So a new Blu Transfer is a must buy for me.

Great news! I'm a big fan of both films, especially Zombie Holocaust. I tried to get an NTSC tape of Dr Butcher MD sent to me from the States years ago, and had it seized by UK customs! They sent me a rather nasty letter warning me against trying to import obscene material in future, and informing me that my tape would be destroyed. A little while after that I virtually had to smuggle in a Dutch tape from Amsterdam, along with some other 'dodgy material'. Now, it just seems utterly ridiculous considering how cheesy the film is.

I can't wait to see 88Films release these titles. It's a shame they don't sell direct from the website, i'd like to pick up tourist trap and these.

The thing I find annoying with zombi holocaust is the sequence involving Alexandra Delli Colli falling into the jungle pit which only appears as a deleted scene on the dvd/blu-ray releases yet having grown up on the original VTC pre-cert which had this sequence within the film, it always seems noticeably missing now when watching the movie

My Dutch VHS had the jungle pit scene within the film, with the added bonus that it was uncut (unlike the heavily cut VTC pre-cert). It would be good if 88 Films could include the US version of the film, Dr Butcher MD, as an extra.

Zombie Holocaust contains one of my all-time favourite scenes

It's near the beginning, where the man jumps thru the window, and his arm comes off when he hits the ground

Pure comedy gold!

Zombi Holocaust and Burial ground are now up for pre-order on Amazon.

Zombi Holocaust [Blu-ray]: Amazon.co.uk: Ian McCulloch, Alexandra Delli Colli, Sherry Buchanan, Marino Girolami: DVD & Blu-ray

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Pre-ordered them both. There's still a lot of time to cancel if they turn out to be duds, isn't it?
