Reading from blu ray forum that 88 films will not use new scan for buio omega
is disappointing severin told me that they will have new print. So why 88 films
are lazy?

Maybe they don't have as much money to spend as Severin?

88 probably can't afford a brand new scan, it's much cheaper to use a 'off the shelf' master from the licensor then create a new one. 88 haven't said for definete they'll be using the current master, they could still be provided with a different one.

They said so themselves in the 88 Films thread at blu ray.com

Something about having watched the Australian blu ray (a port of the US MB disc), and said they didn't find any problems with it and thought it looked good, when in fact its missing footage, has horrible colour timing, is cropped and in the wrong aspect ration, has the audio in the wrong pitch, and the opening credits audio is faster than the footage leading to a 7 second audio drop out before the credits finish.

I have that version. Any idea how much footage is missing?
