£4000 for a lifetime supply!

I'd get hit by a bus the next morning!

Unless they are just really good mock ups it looks like the films are all set to go with completed artworks.

Default The 88 Films Thread

....Waits for someone to bitch and moan and call Arrow (and their fans) c**ts for getting all their money if 88 don't raise the full amount

Its damned if you do, damned if you don't. It seems 88 have LISTENED to their customers and are tackling the Italian titles through crowd-funding. Given the hassles of trying to put out decent transfers and the constant hounding of the transfer police Its probably a sane solution to simply say "this is what it costs" and get the films professionally restored.

I've gone for the £70 option with a large T-shirt.

I'm in 2 minds because the order they're restoring the films is not interesting to me, I'd rather it was in reverse...

Yeah, I thought the order was a bit weird too. Massacre in Dinosaur Valley should easily be the last resort.

I guess it's in order of how bad the current materials are though, with Absurd being the worst and Beyond the Darkness being the best, meaning that it they don't hit the last couple of levels they'll just release those titles anyway without doing any restoration work.

The way I'm looking at it is;
Worst case scenario I pay £45 for a single Blu ray and if that is the case then it's very limited amount will mean it will keep its value, just like the Burial Ground slipcase.
Best case scenario, 4 limited Blu Rays re-mastered in 2K with exclusive slipcovers and MY NAME in the credits!
Seeing as they have raised over 2 grand in an hour or so, I'm quietly optimistic. Go 88 !!
