On other 88 Films related news, I just received my Sorority Babes, came in a bubblemailer, slipcover is damaged in at least 3 places.

Why the hell did they go back to bubblemailers? They just changed to cardboard ones last year after a lot of feedback. This completely defeats the purpose of pre-ordering to get the slipcover.

Can't wait to get all those creased Indiegogo slips.
Bear in mind that 88 now use the distribution company James & James to fulfill their orders so it's possibly out of their hands. When 88 were mailing out their own discs they used to get my address right after an email exchange, since they changed to James & James the address is always wrong. The house name, county and postcode is there, just not the actual village name and York.

Yeah, I'm aware of that. But it's an issue that needs fixing nevertheless. Also the bubblemailer they used was MASSIVE, they could have at least wrapped the thing around the BDs twice to make them more protected, instead of just having them in one corner and giving them space to flop around all over the place.

From Facebook:

Final Specs for Invasion USA Blu-ray - Out 11th July:

When an army of mercenaries land on US soil, America was unprepared. With his band of vicious terrorists, Mikhail Rostov (Richard Lynch, Puppet Master III: Toulon’s Revenge) helps spread fear and panic into the land of the free. However, Rostov knows that before he can truly capture the home of the brave, they will need to eliminate one man; the man who still haunts Rostov’s dreams... that man is Matt Hunter (Chuck Norris, Missing in Action).

Hunter is a one-man army, and when an attempt on his life ends with his house blown to bits, and best buddy dead, the terrorists become the terrorised as Hunter dismantles and disturbs their various attacks; reducing Rostov’s mighty army by the minute. Featuring jaw-dropping set-pieces, all under the masterful eye of cult filmmaker Joseph Zito (Friday the 13th Part 4: The Final Chapter), Invasion U.S.A proudly sits at the apex of Cannon-carnage. 88 Films are pleased to present this hyper-violent 80s action-extravaganza in spectacular HD for the first time in the UK!

Final specs for Scarecrows (Blu-ray and DVD) out 11th July:

PASS AND DIE!

The plan was simple. Boost a few-million, head to Mexico, divide the loot and live it up
for the rest of their days. Unfortunately for this band of ex-military criminals, they’re about to learn the hard way; that best laid plans often go awry. A double-cross ensues and the group find themselves in an eerie abandoned farmhouse, one that holds a murderous secret in the surrounding cornfields. The malevolent scarecrows that inhabit the fields are alive and are soon stalking and slashing their way through the would-be bank robbers. Featuring outlandish gore effects by FX maestro Norman Cabrera (of the KNB EFX Group), stunningly atmospheric cinematography from Peter Deming (Evil Dead II) and a spine-tingling score from Terry Plumeri (Black Eagle), Scarecrows is essential viewing for any self-respecting horror fan. 88 Films are proud to present this stalwart of VHS rental stores in all its HD glory for the first time in the UK!

I know. Just an interview with Brinke Stevens from 16 years ago. I was hoping the cast would've been in the documentary.

True but the reason may be that they want a lot of money
