Those three films arrived today. I ordered them after close of business on Monday.

I'm impressed with 88's delivery. Kept up to date each step of the way and arrive the day after posting. Top stuff.

It was £1 for three dvd's.

In that respect it cost more than HMV who give free postage £10 and over but far better than Amazon who's free postage threshold is £20 or marketplace where it's £1.26 per item.
Susan Foreman and J Harker like this.

Amazon are thieving bathplugs. My Death Walks Twice set showed up yesterday and despit being over the £20 threshold and therefore eligible for free delivery i got charged because the buggers now have standard delivery as the default option as opposed to free delivery.

So you were charged because you didn't check your order before placing it?

Well, kind of yes, but it's been the default option for months now. I'd have thought people would always check exactly what they are ordering and the cost.

I was partly being facetious but, because I have Prime for the time being as a student, it's not something I've had to check for a couple of years.

Still it's a pity J was charged extra for a simple error. In all honesty you shouldn't have to scrutinize each and every order you place but unfortunately you do it seems.
