Are 88 Films likely to get their hands on some of the 80s Sammo and Yuen Biao that HKL never got round to releasing? Like Paper Marriage, Rosa, Enter The Fat Dragon, Pedicab Driver etc or is it going to be all Shaw Brothers?

Picked up the Sleepaway Camp sequels from Fopp and I have to say, I'm really impressed with the picture quality, especially compared to those juddery Anchor Bay DVD editions.

I may pop back to Fopp to pick up 1 or 2 more before the sale ends, possibly ZFE 2 or Evilspeak...

There are no plans for it to be all Shaw. I curated 88 Asia and the initial line up is all Shaw but, of course, I know Rich and James are looking elsewhere too. I am trying to help but busy, busy, busy...

Good stuff, would love to see some of the more hard to find 80s classics, to me that's the greatest period for martial arts films. The stuff Sammo, Jackie and Yuen Biao were doing then will never come again.

It's a real tragedy, that. My childhood was spent watching old videotapes of those films (as well as most of Cannon's output).
