And here are the details for our final January title:

#88DoesDeadHeat

Release date: 30th January 2017

Violent criminals who can’t be killed are shooting up Los Angeles, and the investigation leads L.A.P.D. detectives Roger Mortis (Treat Williams) and Doug Bigelow (Joe Piscopo) to a mysterious pharmaceutical firm. But when Mortis is suddenly murdered, his coroner girlfriend and loose cannon partner discover the company’s resurrection machine that turns Roger into the walking dead. Now the department s most unstoppable cops must battle zombie hit men, a butcher shop gone berserk and the deceased industrialist (the legendary Vincent Price in one of his final film roles) who may hold the key to it all. But can Mortis solve his own homicide case before he completely decomposes?

Darren McGavin (The Night Stalker), Lindsay Frost (The Ring) and Keye Luke (Gremlins) co-star in this wild combination of explosive action thriller and gory zombie comedy directed by Mark Goldblatt (The Punisher) and featuring grisly make-up effects and monsters by Steve Johnson (Species). 88 Films are proud to bring this explosive Special Edition to Blu-ray packed with Extras and with a remastered High Definition transfer.

Special Edition Contents:

Restored HD Master
Uncompressed Stereo Audio
Audio Commentary with Director Mark Goldblatt
Interview with Steve Johnson (SPFX)
Behind-the-Scenes Footage
Deleted Scenes

Rated 18? I remember this film being rather tame. There's plenty of gloop but nothing worthy of Adults only rating.

Also, this was written by Shane Black's brother. Shane has a cameo as a policeman during the ambulance break-out scene.

The original UK vhs was an 18, but I can't remember what the UK dvd was. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a 15 now.

"Here's the finished cover for our first ever foray into film production. An exciting, tense, sexy, and gritty British gangster film shot entirely in Leicestershire where we hark from and directed by the uber talented Steve Lawson, we're pretty excited about it...."

God, I can't figure out the BBFC.

I don't know what is exact happenings that can land you with an 18.

At least with James Ferman there was consistency - the film either got an 18 or banned.
