I actually haven't seen any of the 4 films, and I'm not holding my breath, but quietly excited to watch them I'll probably enjoy the bonus material more than the movies.

I can't recall if I've seen Massacre in Dinosaur Valley, but have seen all the others.

Beyond the Darkness would be my favourite of the bunch. None of them are going to win any awards for film-making, however that can be said about the Italian collection as a whole! If you've seen a bit of mid-tier D'Amato and Fulci then you should be amply prepared for what you're letting yourself in for!

The only one of the films i don't own on dvd is Absurd which i intend to buy.

With respect to fans of the films i would never bother upgrading Massacre in Dinosaur Valley and probably Aenigma to blu even if i was able to.

Although didn't Michal say Aenigma had it's longest running time ever? Not sure if that means added content or what. Whatever it is i hope it's not poor quality vhs sequences added purely because they can.

The pledge also included a remastered edition of Anthropophagous which hasn't been released yet, so 5 releases for £45 (4 of them with exclusive slipcovers) ain't bad!

What's wrong with their other release of Anthropophagous? (Despite the film being a rather dull affair that is)

It was an 'off the shelf' master so far from fantastic. This new release has the benefit of a brand new 2K scan so should look pretty spectacular.

Cheers B_E, I didn't even know this was happening. I've only watched the other BD once since it was released, so I'm in no rush to buy another copy, I'll probably wait for a price drop/sale

I think the general release should be available in April.
