Not yet. I'll definitely get to it though.

I did, and that was what came with Dead Heat, not Mountaintop Motel Massacre – there came the following day. I haven't seen Amuck yet, but probably will tomorrow.

Re: 'Absurd'

Looking at the two releases (DVD & Blu-Ray), I noticed that the Blu-Ray makes mention of a 'Video Nasties Guide and Booklet Notes by Dr. Calum Waddell' amongst the specs, while the DVD doesn't

What is this book?
Is it any good, or does it contain information and pictures that most genre fans would already know??
Basically, is it worth spending a few extra ££ to get the Blu-Ray over the DVD because of this???

It's just a list of the 39 with a very short description/opinion by Callum. It's interesting but not a deal breaker. I think it has a short essay as well, can't remember.

Thanks for the info

I have a number of books and documentaries about the whole 'nasties' debacle, so it sounds like I might as well get the DVD

To be honest, it's such a well trodden area of interest.
My particular favourite book is the 'Art of the Nasty' coffee table style book by Marc Morris and Nigel Wingrove.

I had the original paperback version which has since been lost/stolen/borrowed and have been gifted the newer hardback version a few Christmases ago
