Well I can think of one scene in particular

There is a review posted in the Amazon that there is an issue with the sync on the blu ray release....??? anyone else heard about this or not as the case maybe..

I just got the new Anthro disc in the mail

And holy shit! They done proper color correction!
None of that ugly green/yellow tint, from the other transfers in the campaign.
The sky is blue, grass is green, and the actors have a healthy natural skintone.
It's almost like seeing the movie in color, for the first time

No more crappy scanner noise/DNR, from the old transfer, just a natural dose of untouched 16mm grain

There is some print damage, resulting in some flickering in the colors at times, but when it comes to the overall presentation, it blows Absurd, Beyond the Darkness, Aenigma etc. out of the water

I doubt that Severin can improve the transfer any further.

Great job 88!!

This will probably be the last time I need to upgrade this wonderful turd of a movie. If you only knew, how many shitty releases I have gone through, over the past three decades

But I'm glad they did a good job of it! They've hinted at more campaigns to come too so let's see what the future holds for us.

Slightly concerned I don't seem to have received the backer e-mail from 88 Films regarding Anthro that most people seem to have got. I hope it's just a case of being lost in the ether, and I'll get my Restored Anthro disc without issue.

I've always preferred ANTHROPOPHAGEOUS to ABSURD.
ABSURD is a fun watch, but ANTHROP has more atmosphere.

I actually have more copies of this than SUSPIRIA.
