I would like to add that i'm not actually complaining about the sleeve as i don't keep the releases together but i know many of you do.

As i said earlier i enjoyed the film and that's all that really matters as i collect films not artwork or cases. (I do appreciate a nice slip case though)

That's odd. The blu ray edition has the Italian Collection etc as normal on the spine, the same as the rest of the collection.

It looks like 88Films are releasing a new version of 'The Boogey Man' soon

"An original UK ‘video nasty’ Ulli Lommel’s creepy classic, THE BOOGEY MAN, returns to British shelves in this stunning HD remaster - completely uncut and uncensored!

In this eighties slasher-sickie the spirit of a sleazy psycho-sexual madman is trapped in a mirror during the night of his death. Years later and this evil entity is freed when the glass is destroyed - allowing our invisible prowler to slice and dice his way through a bevy of helpless teenagers and the family of the people who caused his untimely demise. Featuring a cameo appearance from horror legend John Carradine, and an alluring leading lady turn from the sexy Scream Queen Suzanna Love, THE BOOGEY MAN was a critical and commercial smash hit upon its original 1980 release.

Now, decades after this sleeper spook-show first disturbed censors across the world, THE BOOGEY MAN is ready to haunt your living room all over again. Don’t say you weren’t warned!!!

One of the worst (and most boring) films I've ever seen.

There was nothing wrong with the old version in my opinion.
Won't be buying it again.
