Well that certainly makes all the difference.

Well, you know what Walter Sobchak would say, though I'm not sure about who!

I got the same email. Saying 88 are everything an illiterate child who throws his toys out of the pram whenever someone says something he doesn’t like, is unfair. 88 more than likely got it from whoever they though owned it, perhaps the producers? It’s not like they went out of their way and just stole the film. I know Bill likes to think they just take an existing release and rip the files from a disc, but they don’t. I also heard rumour that the film might even be a public domain title, but who really knows.

I noticed they also claim to own The Crazies. I wonder if Arrow got it from them?

Oh well.Glad I got it quickly then if it's set to become a sought-after short lived release.

Wow poor Richard and James. First Arrow thought they owned the rights and now someone else claims they do. It highlights how difficult the rights to films can be it took Arrow years to unpick The Burning after all.

I something is sorted and there is a difference between the US and UK rights, allowing 88 Films to continue with the release of the Blood Harvest BD here.

Looking at the list of titles that Films Around The World claim to own theres a quite few interesting ones. Presumably they would only own the US rights and not the UK or European ones. If they own worldwide rights then Arrow must have done deal with them for The Crazies like Stephen says. Very odd situation and it could have an impact on other titles from companies.

Anchor Bay / Starz had the rights. They made the remake and released the original on dvd. It wouldn't surprise me if Arrow gained the rights from them. Season of the Witch was also from the same company so i presume they licensed them both at the same time.

just looked the website of these guys and have to say its amateurish with lots of mistakes and sure most of the films they listed they don't own the rights too. sure seen some of there stuff on amazon video and the picture quality was no better than a VHS rip. strange they have stuff listed that code red released, could he be involved.

really just seems another case of xenophobia just like bill and a lot of other american labels.

noticed they also say they own horror hotel/ city of the dead
