Think if I don't get anything by release date I'll buy from hmv & ask for a refund from 88. They have been good so far so fingers crossed! When people start recieving their copies then I'll be depressed!

My copy of Eyeball arrived this morning and it looks really good, the package that is as I've yet to watch the film of the documentary.

I got around to watching Amazonia last night after Cannibal Ferox. Theres a lot more animal violence than I remember in Amazonia, it's not on the level of Ferox or Holocaust but it's still in there. The image looks really good too.

I can't recall much animal cruelty either. I know there's National Geographic-style stock/documentary footage of some animals attacking each other and birds flying, but I can't recall anything like Cannibal Ferox or Cannibal Holocaust where it is either deliberately staged or perpetrated by one of the cast.

I have Massacre in Dinosaur Valley and Amazonia in dvd box sets from Shriek Show alongside films like Golden Temple Amazons and Diamonds of Kilimanjaro (Both Jess Franco), Deodato's Jungle Holocaust and Lenzi's Eaten Alive.

Back in the mid 00's these sets could be bought new for about seven quid and they featured commentaries and other extras.

I like them all but doubt i'd upgrade any of then to blu even if i could.
