One of my Mum's best friends is French and they went to see A Prophet at the cinema – they both relied on the subtitles because of the quick dialogue in the thick Marseille accent. She also watches Spiral with the subtitles and need them for all the swearing and colloquialisms.

Any idea what's Up with toxic avenger 3? Amazon reviews suggest its cut. Bbfc don't seem to have tampered with it.

It's the R-rated version. Troma have upgraded that version to HD for some reason, instead of the unrated version.

We can announce we will be releasing Man from Deep River aka Deep River Savages on BD later this year as part of our 88 Italian line. There has been a lot of asking about cannibal carnage and we expect the BBFC will be unhappy about one or two of the genre's trademark animal sequences.

Nevertheless we aim to make this an edition worth owning and hope that you will agree it is high time this former video nasty was returned to UK shelves!
