I don't have access to a Blu-Ray player. I don't even have access to a television set at the moment!

Regular readers will know that, due to circumstances, I am staying with 'the in-laws', and they are more than happy with their basic DVD player despite the fact that I have offered to get them a newer, better Blu-Ray cinema system

I find it hard to believe that the people who are fans of Arrow, 88 Films etc who spunk endless amounts of cash on limited edition pieces of cardboard and re-buy the same films over and over again don't have a spare £60 or so to buy the most basic of blu ray players.

Not meaning yourself Susan cause as you say current living situation means you don't at the moment but I'm assuming normally you would be watching films on a blu ray player.

Who wants one that limits you to UK releases? I certainly don't.

Plus the fact it won't play a fifth of my dvds either.
I assume you mean a multi-region blu ray player? Because a fairly basic UK only one can be got for £50.
Personally I'm happy with a UK only one, I can neither afford nor to I have the time to watch a fraction of what I'd like as it is.

While I take your point about living circumstances Susan, you say your in laws have a basic DVD player, which suggests they surely have a TV you can use? Add to that you say you have offered to 'get' them a newer better Blu-Ray cinema system, unless this is coming off the back of a lorry then you also to appear to have access to one should you so choose. That added to the fact that you bought a bluray disc the other day mistakenly led me to believe you weren't among this select group who simply had no access to such technology. Clearly my mistake, I apologise.

I think that's the same as the initial release, only without the slipcase. Mine is a dual format release.

I was interested in how much it made per day so wrote down the total around midnight last night - £8280

Just had a look now and it's £8700.

That's £420 in a day.
Current standing

Although it isn't available to buy on the website, 88 Films have announced the specs for the Hollow Man/Hollow Man 2 Collector's Edition Blu-ray set.

https://88-films.myshopify.com/colle...14690609725482

From Paul Verhoeven, visionary director of RoboCop and Starship Troopers, comes two tales of transparent terror!

In Hollow Man, a team of scientists led by the ambitious Dr. Sebastian Caine (Kevin Bacon) have developed a groundbreaking serum for invisibility. Desperate to take their research to the next level, Caine volunteers himself as a test subject with horrifying results...

Hollow Man 2 meanwhile tells the story of Michael Griffin (Christian Slater), an invisible assassin gone haywire. Facing a slow death unless he receives a life-saving antidote, it’s down to biologist Maggie Dalton (Laura Regan) and homicide detective Frank Turner (Peter Facinelli) to take whatever measures necessary to apprehend this unseeable menace...

Featuring Oscar-nominated special effects, adrenaline-pumping suspense, and provocative commentary on the nature of power and corruption, Hollow Man 1 & 2 are ripe for reappraisal. And what better way to do it than with this lavish collector’s edition box set from 88 Films!
