Paganini Horror is up for pre-order at the 88Films site - £14.99

"This item is a PRE-ORDER with a street date of September 16th, 2019. Any additional items purchased alongside this one will NOT ship until all items are in hand at our warehouse.

An all-girl Rock group head to a remote villa for a music video shoot, they are in desperate need of a hit single and purchase sheet music from the mysterious Mr. Pickett (the legendary Donald Pleasence). They are told the music is a lost piece from the legendary violinist, Niccolò Paganini, and see this as their ticket to the top of the charts. Little do they know, that this music is cursed and that they have just unleashed hell upon themselves. Soon, the spirit of Paganini is roaming the villa, armed with a murderous violin, and picking off the fame-hungry band members one by one. From the minds of Luigi Cozzi (Contamination) and Daria Nicolodi (Suspiria) comes Paganini Horror a slash-tastic piece of cheesy Euro-horror that could only have been made in the 80s! 88 Films are proud to present this bonkers slice of Italian cult cinema, a camp classic in the making, ripe for re-discovery and destined to be your new favourite worst movie, now even more outrageous thanks to this rocking 2k restoration"

That’s the original poster art, I’ve got an old issue of the Dark Side from the mid 90’s with that as the cover. Never seen the film though so I’m gonna give this a shot when it’s under a tenner

"Just agreed upon a bunch of titles for early next year including some new Italian Collection, Jackie Chan and Shaw Bro’s...

After a difficult time this early this year, Q4 ‘19 and beyond is looking like vintage 88!

Thanks to everyone who has continued to buy our titles this year despite them at times being harder to get hold of and priced higher, we really appreciate that. Our distribution issues have been pretty much sorted now so we can go back to concentrating purely on what we love now, which is releasing awesome Blu-ray editions of culty films."

Pre-order at 88Films - £14.99

Karate Warrior - Italian Collection #53

Release date: October 8th, 2019

"Anthony Scott (Kim Rossi Stuart, Romanzo Criminale) heads to Manilla for a chance to re-connect with his Father (Jared Martin, Aenigma), but as soon as he lands in the sweltering heat of the Philippines, Anthony swiftly finds himself on the wrong side of Quino (Enrico Toralba), a local gangster… who also happens to be a badass Karate champion. After a royal smack-down, Anthony vows to get his revenge and seeks the help of the mysterious Master Kimura (Kensaku Watanabe), the man responsible for teaching Quino his formidable fighting skills before he turned to a life of crime, Anthony is soon under Kimura’s tutorage and en route to mastering the art of the Dragon Blow!

From Fabrizio De Angelis (Killer Crocodile) comes Karate Warrior (A.K.A The Boy in the Golden Kimono), a very Italian take on The Karate Kid. Featuring an early lead role for future Italian megastar, Kim Rossi Stuart, Karate Warrior features a host of cult cinema talent, including the lovely Janet Agren (Hands of Steel) and sports a pulsating soundtrack from BAFTA-nominee, Simon Boswell (The Crying Game). 88 Films are proud to unveil this gorgeous 2k restoration of a cult classic beat ‘em up that spawned 5 sequels!"
