"A huge influence on Quentin Tarantino and a long-term fan favourite, Clan of the White Lotus is a quintessential slice of kung-fu mayhem.

Director/ star Lo Leih (Five Fingers of Death, Miracles) plays the evil ex-monk Pai Mei, a man with white hair, near-supernatural fighting skills and a bitter hatred of Shaolin scholars. Facing him down is the callow Hung Wen-ting (Gordon Liu, who would himself play the cruel Pai Mei in Kill Bill Volume 2). But will his kung fu ever be good enough to take out the mad killer?

It's a follow-up to the earlier Executioners from Shaolin but don't worry if you haven't seen that: Clan of the White Lotus remixes the elements and turns up the volume to create something that stands tall on its own merits. 88 are proud to present the UK bluray premiere of an old skool chop socky classic."

"The strongest comedic cast in history has united to become the strangest superhero team ever in Mystery Men. They're a ragtag team of superhero wannabes that includes Mr. Furious (Ben Stiller), The Shoveler (William H. Macy), The Blue Raja (Hank Azaria), The Bowler (Janeane Garofalo), The Spleen (Paul Reubens), Invisible Boy (Kel Mitchell) and The Sphinx (Wes Studi). When Captain Amazing (Greg Kinnear) falls into the hands of evil madman Casanova Frankenstein (Geoffrey Rush) and his disco-dancing henchmen, there's suddenly a chance for the aspiring superheroes to show what they can do in this hilariously funny and thoroughly original misadventure."

Armour of God II: Operation Condor - £15.00 - Release date June 15th
"The Asian Hawk is back! Undeterred by nearly dying while making the first Armour of God, Jackie Chan returned to battle for a sequel that's bigger, better and even more daring. This time, Jackie's intrepid treasure hunter is on the hunt for some Nazi gold but recovering it will not be easy, let alone safe.

The most expensive Hong Kong film produced at that time, Armour of God II: Operation Condor showcases some of Jackie's best stunts and action, building up to an epic climax that will blow you off your feet. The black belts at 88 Films are thrilled to present the UK Blu-Ray premier – uncut! – of this great fan favourite.

"When a man of God and his loving family move into a new house, they think they've found the perfect home…until they discover that their new digs were once the location where a coven of witches were burned at the stake! It's only a matter of time before the radio starts blaring satanic chants and the cutlery takes on a mind of its own. Will the awakened evil in this house have its final revenge, or can a plucky priest fend off what lurks Beyond Darkness? This tale of terror comes from Claudio Fragasso, the director of Troll 2 (so you KNOW it's good!)."

Overall that's a pretty good lineup. Something for everyone more or less.

Mystery Men isn't a great film though. Could have/should have been but oh well. might buy it, depending on the special features as it was a troubled production and apparently much of the cast didn't get along. It's not that well known but Ben Stiller is a bad tempered prick and gets tantrums if things aren't going his way. In an interview with Steve Johnson on a Highway To Hell disc he said that Stiller blew up because they had to cut filming his scene because a storm was coming. Not the only person who's had a story like this.

Always loved that Hollow Man artwork.

However,I’ll need to rebuy the Ltd Ed for the underrated Hollow Man 2.

That was a film where I expected the worst and was pleasantly surprised.
