Release Date TBC, Pre-order coming soon.

Tough cop Giorgio (Luc Merenda, Torso) doesn’t like to play by the rules, going as far as gunning down a ruthless criminal in broad daylight. After he’s suspended from the force and his boss is murdered, he goes on a brutal undercover dive into the criminal underworld to expose a criminal organisation with no respect for authority. Starring Richard Conte (The Godfather) with a powerhouse score by the great composers Guido and Maurizio De Angelis (Street Law, The Big Racket), this blistering Italian crime classic blazes onto Blu-ray with every car chase and gunshot more mind-blowing than ever. Directed by cult filmmaker Sergio Martino (Hands of Steel, 2019 After the Fall of New York).
Release date: August 2

Honestly, collectors will buy anything if you tell them it's limited, can you believe 88 Films charged £25 for Killing Birds, AND that it sold out in less than a month?

However, I will buy the normal version myself since I have the others

They sold out so quickly because of that 33% off sale that finished last weekend. Even i bought the limited So Sweet So Perverse.

Worked out at £1.25 more than the standard release.

I'm going to wait for the Halloween sale and pick it up for less than a tenner I think, the other 2 don't have slips so there is no continuity to uphold

Is So Sweet... a Sergio Martino film?

I just checked, it was produced by Martino which is why I always think it's his. Lenzi's Gialli were actually quite good though (Eyeball at least) so I will give this one a chance.

Eyeball is one to pick up for me. I have a German dvd which i was going to watch again last week but the quality is really poor in comparison to any other dvd i've seen on my new set up to date.

Even that heavily marked Code Red version of Pets had a superior picture quality.

On a random note. I wonder if anyone is releasing Crimes of the Black Cat over here.

Looks like 88Films are branching out into the US

This potentially means more titles like 'The Gestapos Last Orgy' which cannot (legally) be released in the UK

It's been indicated that they will release most things in dual-territory where permitting, and 'naughty' stuff or licensing issues will be US only and region-free.
