The poster and other ephemera look nice. Were there a lot of extras on the first pressing?

Thanks.

Quite a lot missing. I wonder if it's an error they aren't listed. You'd think it would be easier to simply repress the old discs rather than actually play about removing things.

The commentary spec made me laugh to myself. - Genre expert Scott Harrison.

What is he an expert in? Crap giant snake films?

I'm not saying that in a snarky way. I have the Anaconda dvd box set on my shelf..i saw the first film at the cinema, and will probably get this new box set anyway.

I'd also be surprised if they've re-authored the disc to take the special features out, but those specs are on both 88's site and Amazon. Time will tell, it's out in three weeks isn't it?

I've listened to those commentaries and Scott Harrison really likes the Anaconda films. I wouldn't say they are great commentary tracks as they are more like audio essays, but they do add a bit to the films' worth.

He also provided a commentary for the 101 Films Blu-ray release of Screamers, another of his favourites.

Yep!

"According to a recent BBFC listing, Bruno Mattei’s 'Violence in a Women’s Prison' (1982) is coming to Blu-ray from 88 Films

VIOLENCE IN A WOMEN’S PRISON is an Italian crime drama in which a human rights activist goes undercover in a prison to expose the corrupt officials who are mistreating the inmates."
