88 Films are apparently considering a Kickstarter campaign for a new transfer of Zombie Holocaust:

I'd be first in line to help out on a project like this for hundreds of films, but Zombie Holocaust is a film I have always had trouble liking. I've always wanted to enjoy it, all the right ingredients are there, but I always find myself getting bored.

Still, I wish them luck with the project. I'm guessing we will see more and more of this over the coming years, as physical releases become less popular apart from with us collectors.

They are releasing Zombi Holocaust not Cannibal. I'll help them with this project for sure.

Woops, thanks for pointing that out, it was just a typo. I bloody love Cannibal Holocaust.

I'd love to see new transfers of this and burial ground. also kickstarters usually have great additional items only collectors could love.

If it helps to get good transfers off the ground I'd certainly be interested. How much does a HD transfer etc cost, would 88 have to raise thousands of pounds for the project or like £2000?

Has anyone heard if the slasher collection has only red cases in the first pressings or indefinitely? Some websites also have pictures of them in blue cases, so I'm a little worried how it's gonna go.

I think the most recent pictures serviced to retailers have red/ maroon cases so I would assume the Slasher Collection will always have red cases to help make them stand out.
