I just think they look really stylish. It's great the artwork covers virtually the entirety of the front cover.

I think someone asked this on they're FB page a while back and they said they had no plans for the Grindhouse range .

Of course, never noticed they'd picked titles from both ranges

They told me at Manchester that they would finish it eventually, just probably not with Full Moon titles, but that'll be coming up on a year ago in a few months, so I don't think it'll happen. Like Nos, I hate having an unfinished spine.

I think the DVD idea is a good business decision, if they end up with a transfer that doesn't really pass muster in HD and they know the flack will start, they can still put out a less expensive DVD and shift some units where the transfer is more appropriate to SD, and it gives them double the shelf space and exposure in retailers, of course it also carries a risk that they make even less per unit on DVD but it's all dosh in the bank.

(and I agree they do look pretty cool)

They're currently £13.49 on Amazon, so nearly a fiver more than I've been paying for the blu's

Nice idea to have them on dvd too and the cover design is neat. I'll stick with the blu rays though ( which have cool as hell covers too! )
