Im hopful that 88's release will be the full version . I cant see anything to cause the bbfc to demand cuts , plus another cut version would be pointless for 88 to release as its already had 3 identical cut UK dvd releases . (BOTB / Shriek / Hardgore)

I think the only way they will put out a cut version is if they submit a cut version in the 1st place. I would be very surprized if they did as people have already mentioned, there is bugger all that would cause issues with the Censorship Board now, in 2015.

We'll know soon enough.

Due to the amount of shit they received for putting out a cut version of Toxie 3, I highly doubt they'd release this cut too!

I've emailed Rich and James about the Melon Farmers article and current fits been vented on the forums. How someone can make an article based on a BBFC listing from donkeys years ago I don't know.

It's damaging to 88 if nothing else, the only title they could issues with Man From Deep River for obvious reasons which I imagine most people will understand not go into a hissy fit about.

Defintely crazy. I wouldn't believe they'd release the cut R-rated version when the unrated version is out there. People on internet forums seriously need to chill sometimes.

HMV list it as 99 minutes which would be uncut.

I take non of these sites seriously. Wait for the BBFC'S decision which will be a matter of public record on their website. Before that its all assumptions and guess work. I have Code reds release and TBH I can see nothing the board would take issue with given stuff out there legally passed. I called it with Anthro as well so If I was a betting man then I'd say uncut.

Hi guys, I haven't bothered reading any other questions and answers, but my mate Scotty, who is totally the man, told me that you're going to be releasing nightmares in a damaged brain cut.

I know noting has been submitted to the BBFC yet but to release it cut is stoopid. I hate your company. I can promise I will never buy another 88 films release again because you release everything cut. I'll wait for arrow to release nightmares which hopefully should be announced soon. They will do a much better release and it will be uncut, unlike your release which is cut. Why cut it?

I can't believe I am writing this and you still haven't replied yet. Shows that it will be cut cause your scared to reply. What are you? Some kind of two man operation or something?

So to round up I will no longer be buying any 88 films releases because:
1) every release is cut
2) you announce releases and then they don't come out till 15 years later
3) your not arrow
4) you never reply to my emails even though I sent them 5 mins ago
5) calum
6) loads of cuts
7) you charge for postage
8) cuts, cuts, cuts

Unless it's 8.99 in hmv.... then I'll probably buy it

After going back on forth for a while on buying the Anthro blu-ray I finally decided to pre-order it last night only to receive an email this morning stating it has just been shipped.

Thats one hell of a good service so hopefully I will have some decent weekend viewing.
