I was thinking it was art by Boris or Julie, but wasn't there a French artist who did this?

No-one seems to know who did it. Some think it was them, some think it was Renato Casaro (but he doesn't recall doing it)

That's him, Casaro.

Yes, pretty much.

88 will be releasing it in the UK along with Camera Obscura in Germany as part of some kind of joint venture, I assume. Camera Obscura are very meticulous when it comes to print quality too so the release should look fantastic.

I can't wait to pick it up and replace my old ropey Eurovista DVD.

Another one for Bill to seethe about too as he released it on DVD in the US.

Great news about more of Code Red's releases coming from 88 too.

Whilst I like Code Red's product, the high price point coupled with often having to jump through hoops to get hold of certain titles is very off-putting. All things being equal, I'd much rather give my hard-earned cash to 88.

Yes. He'll only ship to addresses in (I think) the mainland US. I'm not sure what he does to accommodate military stationed overseas, states such as Hawaii, and territories like Puerto Rico.

Yes, he ceased international shipping from his Big Cartel store a while ago as he was getting a lot of Paypal charge backs for apparently 'lost' packages - unfortunately having a slate of titles that are highly sought after but limited in quantity and not always readily available brings out some unsavoury types who are just after making a quick buck at the expense of others.

This was one of the main reasons why Bill decided to start selling a lot of his titles through SAE so they can deal with the hassle. However, SAE can't/won't take all of his releases so Bill still sells some direct on his site. These used to eventually trickle through to Diabolik in small random batches but Bill seems to have fallen out with them recently apparently due to them listing 88's Nightmare in a Damaged Brain Blu along with his own. Therefore it's unlikely that Diabolik will be getting anymore of Bill's Cartel releases.

Oh, and then he bitches because no-one buys his discs...
