Default The 88 Films Thread

He announced The Forest on bluray.com and had to mention 88 Films and complaining about other companies refusing to pay for half of the masters again. Of course, 88 actually wound him up the other day on the Code Red thread. Bill said European companies will probably steal his transfer for Black Gestapo, and 88 jokingly replied that they were just waiting on it being delivered to them. The post is gone now, but they were only having a laugh, and you can't blame them when all Bill does is constantly accuse them of stuff.

Well that's good news.

As far as cannibal type films are concerned there can't be many more left that aren't accounted for or upcoming on blu-ray.

I can think of

Last Cannibal World
Mountain of the Cannibal God
Massacre in Dinosaur Vallley
Cannibal Apocalypse
White Cannibal Queen
Amazonia

I would assume the last four would get through the BBFC with mere seconds (if anything) taken out. I hope a few of these do make it out as it would be nice to complete the set even though I'm not crazy on the last two on the list and never really liked mountain of the cannibal god as for some strange reason I just cant get into that one

Man from Deep River is another one of the few cannibal type films that doesn't really a lot for me, however I will certainly pick it up for the extras, mainly the documentary and the commentary which if as enjoyable as the commentary track on Burial Ground will be well worth having.
