Both Drive-In and Scarecrows have arrived today so now I have the task of deciding which to watch first! Is Criminal Law any good? |

Not a hint of either for me – maybe tomorrow.

88 Films have added a new photo to their collection on FaceBook It would appear to be from a film called 'Seven Deaths In A Cat's Eye'

It's a very good Gothic horror and well worth checking out if you don't know it. I think it's Antonio Margheriti's best film.

That's a really good giallo, and no mistake. I have the Italian DVD, which I will be very happy to upgrade to one with better AV quality (the DVD is non-anamorphic) and some extra features.

Wrong film, Nos. That's Crimes of the Black Cat.

I just realised that and was going to amend accordingly. There are so many gialli with animals and numbers in the titles that it is easy to get confused now and again. The DVD I have is actually the Blue Underground one, which is good, but could easily be improved.

Speaking of Crimes of the Black Cat, that's another which is ripe for a high quality UK Blu-ray release.

It's similar to what they do with dtv action film titles. Get a bank of aggressive sounding words then pick two out and put a conjunction between them. |
