Any sort of improved release would be welcome.

It's similar to what they do with dtv action film titles. Get a bank of aggressive sounding words then pick two out and put a conjunction between them.
I think can be traced back to Argento's 'Animals' trilogy, only the ones which followed don't have anything to do with the title! I guess another influence would be the several adaptations of Edgar Allan Poe's The Black Cat, whether by Argento, Fulci or Sergio Martino, making black cats a popular choice for a poster.

There are usually big releases announced for around Halloween time and, because it is the time of year when the nights draw in, the lighting is more 'horror friendly' than the summer.

The Dead Nextdoor has arrived at 88 Towers today, they posted a photo of the stock. Body Puzzle is currently delayed while they look at the feasability of doing a new scan.

I wonder if they they've decided to up their game on the transfer front, if Absurd can look as good as it does on those stills maybe they've decided that accepting noise ridden masters isn't the way to go?

I probably won't buy The Dead Next Door because I contributed to the original crowdfunding and have the deluxe version with soundtrack, fabric patch and bumper sticker.

As for the transfers, they may be using some of the extra money from the Indiegogo campaign to help with restorations of separate projects in addition to financing the trips to Italy to make extra features for the films made possible by the crowdfunding campaign.
