Cutting edge for the days of tape!

So DON'T switch off the VHS before the end credits roll!
Thank you.

I'm tempted to watch it now. I definitely would were they not on the dvd release as well.

As you say, very cutting edge for a vhs.

It appears the 88 disc has passed unscathed.....but watching it the other night,I thought the cat death scene was rather quick compared to the ABUS DVD...
That however, may be an age thing.

Can anyone confirm?
This is all i can go off.

Rewind @ www.dvdcompare.net - Alice, Sweet Alice AKA Communion AKA Holy Terror (1976)

from dvdbeaver regardin Alice Sweet Alice

"Although the title sequence features a 1998 copyright notice, this is the original uncut version and not the shorter director's cut which appeared on the 1997 Roan Group laserdisc (which ran 101 minutes and 20 seconds in NTSC). Despite it's shortcomings, the 88 Films release would appear to be the preferable option for British viewers for which the film is uncut for the first time in the UK (not only in terms of not being the director's cut but also suffered minute trims in its past two video releases)."

Does anybody know what's going on with Perfume of the Lady in Black? We're up to june 12th for a release date, and have been waiting ages for this! Is there a problem with print or extras?

According to 88 when we were conversing via email the other week Perfume is locked in for it's June release, so it's coming. Wether it's a brand new scan or not or the same master Raro used I don't know. I would think it's a new scan as they've upped their game on this front especially as there was such a backlash at Raro's release.

Has anyone watched their copy of Syndicate Sadists yet? Someones posted on the 88 facebook page that it's not encoded properly and has visual issues. I've not had chance to give my disc a spin yet.
