"Our 88 Asia range goes from strength to strength and we are proud of the fact that we are the only UK label dedicated to the magic of the Shaw Brothers in glorious HD! Even better is pulling out some truly left field surprises - and if you have been lapping up the Shaw horror titles then 2018 will see the BluRay premiere of 1970's gender bending supernatural spook show THE ENCHANTING GHOST!!!"

Disappointed that 88 used the exact same image on both sides of the sleeve for In the Eye of the Hurricane. Surely it makes it a bit of a pointless exercise?

What was wrong with this below for the reverse?

Good film though and a nice transfer...even on dvd.

Statements like that are the reason 88 has decided to use some questionable alternate art on the reverse of some of their releases now. For instance, House On Sorority Row should’ve had the same classic art on both sides. So no it’s not a pointless excercise. Some people want “clean” versions of the art on the reverse. 🧐

Can't please everyone all of the time then.

However the true officanados would have the clean art as a lovely slip case anyway. So three cases of the same art seems a tad extreme.

Interestingly they have dropped the Italian collection spine builder and BBFC cert from both sides of the spine for this one. Just says 88 Films at the top then the title half way down the spine and that's it, so even in my feeble Italian collection it stands out like a sore thumb.

I have the Blu-ray release isn't the same as that will be annoying.

I'll likely order it tomorrow with some of the titles they said will be in stock, so will hopefully have it in the slipcase anyway.

It's Spanish though, isn't it? Perhaps that's why.

I'm still waiting for mine from Mondo Macabro.

It's a joint production. Directed by a Spaniard but with Italian producers (Arvo Film). The sleeve design looks like an Italian Collection film minus the logo. The languages are Italian and English. It's also in the book Blood and Black Lace which is about Italian gialli.

Perhaps people would have kicked up a fuss on social media and that's why it's not part of the Italian collection.

Plus it still doesn't account for no BBFC spine logo.
