I remember being very underwhelmed by the dvd release. It looked like somebody had smeared vaseline over the camera lens.

Sadly that’s how it was shot, I would love to Conquest and Rome 2033 get a release from 88. I think the main issue is rights and money with Fulci titles, he’s a bit of a cash cow with rights holders and the rights / licensing for the UK is a bit tricky as multiple companies had the rights in the 80’s.

i am sure that i saw Rome 2033 on vhs many years ago. i wasent very impressed with it from what i remember.

i saw Endgame on vhs in the 1980s, i dont remember that much about it but that giant chap from Absurd was in it from what i remember.
