I don't know, but DVDCompare note the the film is uncut

From what Calum Waddell said on Twitter, I think it's just a rights issue with the packaging and nothing to do with the film.

I'm pretty sure Cannibal Terror came out in the UK on the Hardgore DVD label (it was even in the Poundland horror section one Halloween years back, even I left it on the shelf)

Yes, it did

I was the mug who bought it, but...it's another 'nasty' in my collection, and it was probably about £10 cheaper than 88Films will be charging for it!

Yeah, even when it hits the HMV 5 for £30, Cannibal Terror will seem over-priced!

Whoever decided to release Cannibal Terror is a cretin. So many good films out there that haven't had any release since the VHS days and yet they decide on one of the most boring films i can think of.

i guess it's down to availability a lot of the time. some of the ones that were only available in VHS days or never had a home release before, may not have usable elements, or could be in rights hell, or been completely misplaced. i don't see 88 as the type of company that goes in for tracking down stuff and doing restoration.

Hey!
Calm down!

What other Cannibal film can claim to have the 'cannibal' extras wearing a watch?
