An ideal Bronson film for 88 Films.
I believe it was released in the UK by Studio Canal.

I do believe you're thinking of The Quest and Messenger of Death.

Otherwise, you've just outed yourself as a traveller from a parallel universe!

Is there a market for the later films of Jean Claude-Van Damme? You'd think it'll be his earlier stuff that will sell better.

My thinking of Nowhere to Run was because someone quite a while ago showed a list of possible titles they had access to, which had a lot of Sony titles, some of which 88 have put out. And now that I think about it, i'm sure Maximum Risk was also on there, so I guess it could be that.

I saw that at the cinema. The car chases in Nice were excellent.

I always felt Ronin kind of ripped off Maximum Risk.

I'm quite insane i know.

I love Maximum Risk. Two Van Damme's, Natasha Henstridge, and an awwsome trailer with The Prodigy's Firestarter. What's not to love.

if it is the order, then it might just be part of a package deal that's been made with the owners. again it's only speculation that this is the film.

With Maximum risk, there is a rough cut that's apparently much better than the theatrical (sony werent happy with Ringo Lam) dont know if it will ever be seen as a special feature.

If the van damme flick is a sony release, then there is also Double Team and Knock Off and Universal Soldier The Return and have released the bulk of his dtv stuff (what ones sony own i cant remember).

All i know is that it's not Hard Target, Sudden Death, universal soldier or The Quest as they've all been released in the last year (and annoyingly only the Quest has had any new extras given)

I'm surprised Bloodsport hasn't been given a blu ray release here or in the states. As far as i'm aware Warner dont own the rights anymore and they're with mgm and it seems like the most popular film in cannon's back library as well as van dammes, maybe mgm are asking alot of cash for it?

BLOODSPORT & TIMECOP are available on a single disc blu-ray in the states. I own it.
